Mr. Vanorsdale has provided testimony before local, county, and state legal and/or regulatory bodies, including the Texas Railroad Commission, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division, and the Kansas Corporation Commission. His testimony for the KCC concerned the effective and efficient recovery of gas from the largest conventional gas field in North America, the Kansas Hugoton Field.

For the trier of fact to reach a decision, they often must become familiar with technical detail well beyond their everyday understanding. Working closely with counsel, Mr. Vanorsdale crafts lines of questioning (both direct and cross) that plainly describe the most complicated oil & gas topics as diverse as well testing, petrophysical interpretation, reservoir simulation, geological characterization, and resource assessment & evaluation.
